Berryville 42, Yellville-Summit 0

Tristan Updegraff and Kooper Logan ran for two touchdowns as Berryville enjoyed the first victory in its new stadium.

The Bobcats (2-1) bolted to a 21-0 halftime lead as Updegraff ran for one touchdown and Logan ran for two more. Updegraff added a 39-yard touchdown run to start the second, and Brett Parsons added a 34-yard touchdown run for the 35-0 cushion and the running clock midway through the third quarter.

Updegraff finished with 137 yards on just seven carries, while Logan added 104 yards on 12 carries. Parsons chipped in 95 yards on nine carries.

Prairie Grove 19, Pottsville 0

Ethan Guenther threw for a pair of first-quarter touchdowns and led Prairie Grove to a nonconference victory at Pottsville.

Guenther hit Kaine Caswell in stride for a 65-yard touchdown pass with 7 minutes, 2 seconds left in the first quarter, then added a 13-yard touchdown pass to Symoyah Hobbs for a 12-0 cushion with 23 seconds remaining. The Tigers (1-2) added a 10-yard touchdown run by Garrett Heltemes in the third quarter.

Lincoln 48, Subiaco Academy 20

Lincoln piled up 466 yards of total offense while improving to 3-0 on the season.

Caleb Lloyd passed for 170 yards and two touchdowns in addition to rushing for 53 yards and three scores.

Christian Sellers added 124 yards and Christian Crittenden 109 yards rushing for the Wolves.

Danville 35, Waldron 19

Running back Quentin Tolbert had 15 carries for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns as Danville (2-1) topped Waldron (1-2).

Danville's Tony Ochoa opened the scoring with an 18-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Waldron quickly answered with a scoring run by quarterback Braden Williams.

Tolbert scored his first touchdown in the second quarter, but Waldron responded again with a touchdown pass from Williams to Seth Hunt.

The game remained close in the third, with scoring runs by Danville's Dalton Reagan and Waldron's Logan Holland. But Danville pulled away in the fourth as Tolbert scored his second touchdown and T.J. Lewis threw a scoring pass to Evan Lane.

Green Forest 31, West Fork 30

Jordon Zapeda-Mahaffey's 4-yard touchdown run snapped a 24-24 tie, then Green Forest's defense held on a two-point conversion as the Tigers edged West Fork.

West Fork failed to convert on all five of its two-point conversions but still had a chance to win after forcing Green Forest (1-2) to punt. Carter Boggs, however, recovered a fumble with 1:45 remaining to preserve Green Forest's lead.

Reiley Gordon had two touchdown runs and a two-point conversion for Green Forest, while Dustin Pimentel returned an onside kick for 55 yards and a score to open the second half. Franklin Morales also kicked a 34-yard field goal for Green Forest.

Greenland 28, Gentry 17

Greenland overcame a 17-0 halftime deficit to earn a nonconference victory at Gentry.

Hayden Stout had 44 carries for 235 yards and three touchdowns for Greenland (2-1), which cut the deficit to 17-14 after three quarters and scored twice in the fourth quarter. Levi Vaughn added 19 carries for 128 yards and a touchdown and also completed 10 of 18 passes for 127 yards.

Gentry quarterback Brandon Atwood completed 12 of 21 passes for 157 yards and touchdown passes to Zach Jarnagan and Dylan Kilgore. Jarnagan, a sophomore, had five catches for 85 yards and a score and 72 yards rushing on just two carries while Kilgore caught 4 passes for 34 yards.

STATE GAMES

Joe T. Robinson 41, Camden Fairview 12

Quarterbacks Greyson Tackett and Buddy Gaston each threw for multiple touchdowns, helping Joe T. Robinson (2-1) roll past Camden Fairview (1-2).

Bossier City (La.) Parkway 30, Pulaski Academy 22

Pulaski Academy suffered its first loss since the 2016 season, falling to Bossier City (La.) Parkway.

The Bruins (2-1) entered Friday with the state's longest winning streak at 28 games. Their last loss before Friday was against Salt Lake City East High School in Week Two of the 2016 season.

Pulaski Academy led 14-13 entering the fourth quarter, but Parkway outscored the Bruins 17-8 in the final 12 minutes. Parkway avenged its 61-14 loss to the Bruins last season with Friday's victory.

North Little Rock 46, Memphis (Tenn.) Whitehaven 35

Senior fullback Tyler Day rushed for 167 yards and 3 second-half touchdowns on 22 carries as defending Class 7A state champion North Little Rock ran to its 29th consecutive regular-season victor.

The Charging Wildcats (3-0) rushed 59 times for 373 yards. Day's touchdowns runs covered 25, 1 and 2 yards. His 1-yard run gave North Little Rock a 46-28 lead with 4:42 remaining in the game.

Junior tailback Brandon Thomas ran 18 times for 101 yards while senior tailback Oscar Adaway had 66 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.

The Tigers (3-2) were limited to 50 rushing yards on 18 attempts.

Although Whitehaven was without "seven or eight starters" because of injury or suspension, Coach Rodney Saulsberry said, the Tigers were within 34-28 after a 19-yard touchdown pass from Vincent Guy to senior wide receiver Mose Frazier with 51 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

Little Rock Christian 56, Greenbrier 13

Scoring on all but one of their first-half possessions, the Warriors drilled the Greenbrier Panthers on Friday night on their home field.

While the Warriors' offense was clicking, scoring on their first four possessions en route to a 49-0 halftime lead, the defense was just as imposing.

Greenbrier suffered a blocked punt and was in negative yardage most of the first half before its final two possessions moved the ball against Little Rock Christian reserves. The Panthers had 43 yards of offense in the first half and two first downs.

Little Rock Christian opened with a 12-play, 82-yard drive. Sophomore Corey Platt scored from the 10.

After a three-play Greenbrier possession and short punt, Kendel Givens scored on a 35-yard run. Justice Hill hit Chris Hightower with a 5-yard pass. Strong-legged sophomore Isaiah Hankins was perfect on all three extra points, and it was 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Hill was 17 of 20 passing for 186 yards and two touchdowns.

Mount Ida 28, Magnet Cove 7

Mount Ida (3-0) broke away from a halftime tie with three second-half touchdowns to defeat Magnet Cove (1-2).

Cade Jackson's 35-yard touchdown run at the outset of the third quarter put Mount Ida in front for good and Gage Dyer's 14-yard run in the fourth quarter completed the scoring.

Jonathan Lagrange's 2-yard run and Oscar Pinedo's extra point in the first quarter put Mount Ida up 7-0, but Magnet Cove tied it on Eli Dawson's 3-yard run and the extra point by Alex Ordonez.
