PRESCOTT 46, HOPE 13
PRESCOTT -- Quarterback Ryan Johnson completed 10 of 19 passes for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns as Prescott (2-0) cruised to victory over Hope (0-2).
The Curley Wolves jumped out to a 20-0 first-quarter lead with rushing touchdowns from Derriun Thompson and Alex George and a 40-yard scoring pass from Johnson to Jordan Glass.
Prescott scored twice more in the second quarter on a run by Thompson and a touchdown reception by Keonte Franklin. Hope scored late in the quarter with a 13-yard pass from Hunter Heliums to Nikorean Muldrow.
Prescott added to the lead in the third quarter as George scored his second rushing touchdown and Johnson again connected with Glass.
Hope closed the scoring with a 77-yard kickoff return by Jaloni Davis.
