NEWPORT 35, LONOKE 14
NEWPORT -- Cash Forrester passed for 185 yards and 1 touchdown and rushed for another score as the Newport Greyhounds (2-1) scored 4 consecutive touchdowns ran past Lonoke (1-2).
Lonoke scored first on Davonta Adams' 3-yard run, but the lead didn't last long.
Newport built a 28-7 lead on a 9-yard run by Tharon Davis, a 1-yard touchdown run and a 35-yard interception return for a touchdown by Monquell Cox, and Forrester's 28-yard touchdown pass to Davis.
Braidon Bryant's 8-yard cut the lead to 28-14 in the third quarter, but Forrester's 1-yard run in the fourth quarter completed the scoring.
