MOUNT IDA 28, MAGNET COVE 7

MOUNT IDA -- Mount Ida (3-0) broke away from a halftime tie with three second-half touchdowns to defeat Magnet Cove (1-2).

Cade Jackson's 35-yard touchdown run at the outset of the third quarter put Mount Ida in front for good and Gage Dyer's 14-yard run in the fourth quarter completed the scoring.

Jonathan Lagrange's 2-yard run and Oscar Pinedo's extra point in the first quarter put Mount Ida up 7-0, but Magnet Cove tied it on Eli Dawson's 3-yard run and the extra point by Alex Ordonez.
