LAKE VILLAGE -- Chris Harris, Kylin James, Kaleb Small and Brykeilend Alsup each scored 2 touchdowns, and the Dumas Bobcats (3-0) broke open a close game with a 30-point second quarter en route to a victory over the Lake Village Beavers (2-1).
Lake Village scored first on Anthony Jones' 60-yard touchdown reception and made it 14-12 late in the first quarter on Kenvorris Campbell's interception return of a Dumas pass.
But Dumas pulled away in the second quarter on Alsup's interception return, Harris' 4-yard touchdown run, a safety, Small's kickoff return for a touchdown after the safety and Alsup's touchdown reception.
Dumas added to its 44-12 halftime lead with two third-quarter touchdowns, James' 5-yard run and Laylin Hampton's 15-yard touchdown reception.
