Cathy and Kevin Crass were honored for their support of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and its athletic programs on Oct. 11 at SpectacUALR, an event held in the Jack Stephens Center.
Kevin Crass said that he and his wife had been involved with the event since the beginning and that he was on the original SpectacUALR committee. He noted the remarkable response and generosity of people giving that evening as well as the community's support in comments about the honor.
The evening began with a cocktail hour and buffet of finger foods, and a chance to bid on silent auction items and a "Super Silent Auction," which included a dinner for six at the home of Athletic Director Chasse Conque and his wife, Lisa. A live auction included a diamond bracelet from Jones & Son Fine Jewelry, dinner for 16 at Linda and Rush Harding's farm and a dinner party for six hosted by Janessa and UALR Chancellor Andrew Rogerson and Chris and women's basketball coach Joe Foley.
Event chairmen were Mary Katherine Henderson and Scott Yant. Presenting sponsors were Harriet and Warren Stephens, Stephens Inc. and Dillard's.
