A Boo at the Zoo event — Sunday's meet-and-greet featuring The Walking Dead's Michael Cudlitz that was written about in Thursday's Style section — has been canceled.
According to a press release issued Thursday afternoon, "The Zoo was notified by the organization representing Mr. Cudlitz that he is unable to make the ... appearance due to the production schedule of a current project. All tickets purchased for the event will be fully refunded."
Zoo director Susan Altrui was quoted as saying, "We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. "Thank you for your support of the Little Rock Zoo and of Boo at the Zoo. We hope you'll still join us for all the spook-tacularly fun activities for the entire family."
