It started as a tweet, grew some legs, and became a major treat for Canaan Sandy and his mom Ginger Sandy.
Thanks to Frank Fletcher and his Fletcher Chrysler Jeep manager Mark Miller, the Sandys are the proud owners of a new car.
Canaan, known and loved by many, and his mom show up at all types of sports or sports-related events, primarily for the University of Arkansas.
A couple of years ago on an ESPN poll, Canaan was voted the No. 1 Razorback fan in the world. He probably calls the Hogs more than anyone.
Last weekend Steve Sullivan, sports director for KATV Channel 7, tweeted that a price has been paid for Canaan and Ginger's loyalty to the Razorbacks and all things sports in Arkansas. Their car had more than 400,000 miles on it.
Miller read the tweet, called his boss, and Fletcher picked out a Razorbacks red car to give to them.
This is not the first time Fletcher, a UA graduate and huge Razorbacks fan, has been so generous -- it was just the most public.
The Sandys were at the mud bowl Saturday at War Memorial Stadium, and they are expected to be at the game against Tulsa this Saturday and many more places in the future.
Ballots for the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame have gone out, and the list is full of deserving candidates for induction into the 2019 class.
The regular voting list has 43 names who represent football, basketball, officiating, track and field, tennis, kayaking and much more. There are 18 different schools represented on the ballot.
It includes some of the all-time greats from the University of Arkansas such as Madre Hill, Barry Foster and Peyton Hillis, just to name a few.
The senior list is for people older than 65 or deceased, and it has 48 names. Like the regular list, it is loaded with former greats such as Gary Adams, who played defensive back for the Razorbacks from 1965-1968 and was a three-time All-Southwest Conference selection.
Much later there was a Razorbacks quarterback who had the same name, but the Gary Adams on the ballot had 13 interceptions and averaged more than 10 yards per punt return.

If you are going to Fayetteville on Friday for Saturday's Tulsa-Arkansas game, the annual Red-White basketball game is that night.
Former Hogs greats Joe Kleine and Charles Balentine will coach the red team, and Corey Beck and Elmer Martin the white team.
Kleine and Balentine are known for many victories, but none bigger than Feb. 12, 1984, on NBC.
North Carolina was undefeated and ranked No. 1 when it came to Pine Bluff on an icy Sunday. The Tar Heels featured Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins, Matt Doherty and Brad Daugherty.
Arkansas was ranked No. 19. It was a great game, and with time running out the Tar Heels double-teamed Kleine, so Balentine hit a base-line jumper to give the Razorbacks a 65-64 victory. A final shot by North Carolina's Steve Hale rimmed out.
Beck and Martin were on the national championship team of 1993-1994 that in the NCAA Tournament knocked off powerhouses Georgetown, Michigan and Arizona to set up a showdown with Duke, who was two years removed from back-to-back national championships.
Corliss Williamson had 23 points, Scotty Thurman scored 15 -- including the three-point shot that gave the Hogs the lead for keeps with 1:15 to play -- but Beck also had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
A fun time will be had Friday night.
