Fort Smith clinic extends hours

Mercy Convenient Care in Fort Smith is now open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at three locations: 3505 S. 79th St., 1400 Zero St. and 6801 Rogers Ave. The walk-in clinics are designed for nonemergency treatment of conditions such as fever, sprains, ear pain, rashes and earaches.

The clinics offer services such as X-rays, laboratory testing and results for many situations, sutures, immunizations, injections and breathing treatments.

Bentonville Chamber plans Tech Summit

The Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit hosted by the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce and the NWA Technology Council will feature more than 60 speakers during the Oct. 23 event. This year's summit also includes the Women in Technology Conference and a MedTech Healthcare Conference. All events will take place at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers.

Keynote speakers for the summit include: Craig Harper, executive vice president and chief operating officer, J.B. Hunt; Kim Keating, vice president of data science and machine learning, AT&T; Rachel Mushahwar, general manager, global sales, Intel; Yazdi Bagli, senior vice president, global business services and emerging technology, Walmart; and Martin Hitch, chief business officer, Bossa Nova Robotics.

The Women in Technology Conference is Oct. 22. Keynote speakers include: Dawn Drewry, vice president, IT Centers of Expertise, Tyson Foods; Stephanie Lampkin, CEO, Blendoor; and Kim Keever, chief information security officer, Cox Communications.

The MedTech Healthcare Conference is Oct. 22.
