Divers on Thursday afternoon found the body of a man who drowned in a central Arkansas lake, less than a day after his boat capsized while he was fishing.

Search-and-rescue teams discovered the body about 1:30 p.m. in water just north of Indian Head Lake in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas Game and Fish spokesman Keith Stephens.

The man's body was sent to the county coroner's office, Stephens said.

Three people were in the flat-bottomed boat fishing when it overturned about 9:30 p.m. in a body of water just north of Indian Head Lake, Stephens said Thursday.

Two people safely swam to shore, but the other became tired and drowned, he said.

The name of the individual who died has not yet been released.
