Patrons of Opus XXXIV, the annual fundraiser by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra supporting music education, were invited to a party in their honor on Sept. 27 at Edgemont House -- the home of Chris Olsen.
A variety of pumpkins in different sizes and colors along with chrysanthemums and fall-colored potted plants lined the steps to the front door where Christine Littlejohn, the ASO's executive director, greeted patrons. Guests enjoyed a buffet of heavy hors d'oeurves and tours of the home.
Also in attendance were chairmen of this year's Opus, Elizabeth Andreoli and Debi Barnes, and next year's chairmen Martha and Bob Snider. Opus is Oct. 27 at the Little Rock Marriott and will include music by Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra and Rodney Block, dinner and dancing.
