Once Upon a Time puts money in UCP's coffers

The signature fundraising event of United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas -- Once Upon a Time -- was held Sept. 25 at the Robinson Center Ballroom.

Guest enjoyed a buffet of hors d'oeuvres while listening to local jazz band The Goat Band and bidding on silent auction items including one of former UCP board member Willie Oates' famous hats. Among the sweets offered was a bread pudding prepared by the North Little Rock restaurant Flavours, which was created to provide job training and employment for people with disabilities.

A live auction included tickets to Elton John's Farewell Tour concert in San Francisco and tickets to see Hamilton in Chicago. Ed Buckner served as master of ceremonies and Billy Hartnedy was auctioneer.
