Margaret Ryan Anderson - Aaron Albert Lae

Wedding vows were exchanged by Margaret Ryan Anderson and Aaron Albert Lae at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Officiating was Deacon John Hall from Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church.

Tish and Robert Anderson of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Gaye and Dr. Robert Anderson of Little Rock and the late Joan and Robert Metzler of Kansas City, Mo.

Parents of the groom are Marcy Baker of Fort Collins, Colo., and the late Roy Lae. He is the grandson of Roy Lae Sr. of Yorba Linda, Calif., and the late Blanch Lae; Bonny Thomas of Fort Collins, the late Gerald Thomas and the late William Albert.

The chancel was decorated with two cathedral arrangements of blush-colored roses and hydrangeas. Music was by organist Beau Baldwin, soloist Hope Sharp, violinist Tony Huang and trumpeter Stephen James.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace and tulle gown embellished with a cascade of blossoms. She carried a clutch-style bouquet of blush colored dahlias, roses, hypericum and hydrangeas.

Kate Anderson of Little Rock served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Hammons of Memphis and Mary Grace Hathaway of Washington. They wore port wine-colored gowns with high necklines and flutter sleeves. They carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

Serving as best man was William Beckman of Santa Monica, Calif. Groomsmen were Andrew Raymond of Denver, cousin of the groom, and Ian Lae of Fort Collins, brother of the groom. Guests were seated by Brennan Anderson and Trevor Anderson, both of Little Rock and brothers of the bride.

After the ceremony, there was a reception at the Country Club of Little Rock. Two large arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, snapdragons and dahlias were on each side of a wedding cake. The club's garden room was centered with a canopy of southern smilax entwined with hanging Edison bulb lights. Guest tables were centered with vintage glass bottles filled with garden flowers and towering maple branches. Music was by Larry B and the Cradle Rockers.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Mississippi and is a customer care manager for Vistar in Denver.

The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in astrophysics from the University of Colorado and is employed in sales at SALT Marketing.

The couple will live in Denver after a honeymoon in Aruba.
