In time for Halloween

A couple days ago, we brought you a terrifying story about large and aggressive mosquitoes plaguing a North Carolina town after Hurricane Florence moved through. Although that is a scary situation, it only affects one part of the country. But a new menace is something that faces the entire planet. That is, it’s looking at the entire planet.

A skull-shaped asteroid will have a close encounter with Earth just in time for Halloween, according to the papers. The space rock is called Asteroid 2015 TB145. The name isn’t scary, but the pictures from NASA certainly are.

Now don’t panic. Scientists say this rock will stay 105 times average lunar distance away from Earth, more than a Sunday afternoon drive. The astrol-

ogers are still waiting to see how this rock will impact Leos and Scorpios. Check your horoscope in the Style section. More from Fox News:

“First discovered on Oct. 10, 2015, by the University of Hawaii’s Pan-STARRS-1 (Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System), the ‘Halloween asteroid’ is set to make another flyby in November, researchers say. However, it will be nowhere near as close to our planet this time.”

Still, the space rock could be an omen to those superstitious enough, and we know a few.

Even if NASA says we have no reason to worry, we’d better go ahead and have Bruce Willis and our very own Billy Bob Thornton on standby just in case.
