BENTONVILLE -- A Rogers man was arrested Tuesday after police said he admitted to secretly taking photographs of a 13-year-old girl.

Dustan Dewayne Rea, 34, was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set. He was arrested in connection with four counts of engaging children in sexually explicit conduct for use in visual or print medium and video voyeurism.

Prosecutors haven't filed formal charges against Rea.

An anonymous person reported to the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division the person was in possession of Rea's tablet, and it contained a video of a 13-year-old getting out of the shower, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The report said the video was filmed through a crack in the door, and the girl was unaware she was being recorded, according to court documents. The person also reported there were photographs of the girl as she slept, according to the court affidavit.

Rogers police obtained the tablet and found several photographs of a young female, according to the affidavit. Some of the photographs showed the female drying off after a shower, according to court documents.

Police were also able to recover videos from the tablet, according to the affidavit.

Rea denied using his tablet in three years or ever filming the girl when he was first questioned by police, according to the affidavit.

Rea later admitted to taking the photographs and videos of the girl, but denied he touched the girl in a sexual manner and never intended to engage in sexual intercourse with her, according to the affidavit.

Rea's arraignment is scheduled for 8 a.m. Nov. 13 in Benton County Circuit Judge Brad Karren's courtroom.
