More than 11 pounds of marijuana was seized from an Arkansas man's home Monday in a search that also netted 10 firearms, authorities said.

According to a news release from the Garland County sheriff's office, investigators suspected a home on Arkridge Road was a "marijuana grow and processing facility."

When they searched the home, they found 11.75 pounds of suspected marijuana — in various stages of processing — as well as 10 guns, the releases states.

Authorities said homeowner James Ledbetter was arrested before the search at a nearby business on an unrelated charge of third-degree domestic battery.

The 54-year-old now faces new charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, according to the sheriff's office.

Jail records show Ledbetter remained at the Garland County jail Tuesday morning in lieu of $8,000 in bonds.
