Siloam Springs stabbing investigated

A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Siloam Springs Tuesday morning.

Siloam Springs Police Department officers responded to 820 W. Twin Springs in reference to a possible stabbing, according to a Siloam Springs Police Department press release.

When officers arrived, the alleged victim had left the scene and driven himself to the Siloam Springs Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is unknown but are not believed to be life threatening.

Numerous witnesses were interviewed but a man was taken into custody for Battery 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony and has been transported to the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

It's believed this is an isolated incident between individuals who were known to one another and there's no present danger to the community.

Officers and detectives remain on scene and the investigation is active and ongoing.
