Australian vocal ensemble The Ten Tenors, on a 20th anniversary tour of the United States, performs a repertoire from their latest album, Wish You Were Here, a tribute to performers "who have left us too soon," including Prince, David Bowie, Michael Hutchence, John Lennon, Amy Winehouse and Roy Orbison:

Fayetteville 'Revival'

The Mission Temple Fireworks Revival features Southern raconteur Paul Thorn, the Blind Boys of Alabama and the McCrary Sisters, 8 p.m. Saturday at Fayetteville's Walton Arts Center, 495 W. Dickson St. Tickets are $29-$49 plus fees; a VIP pre-show meet and greet with the performers, hosted by Cosmic Cowboy Studio, in Starr Theatre, is an additional $50; proceeds support the center's Arts Education Programs. Kiril plays Brahms

Violinist Kiril Laskarov headlines "Laskarov Plays Brahms," 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, part of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra's 2018-19 River Rhapsodies Chamber Music series. The all-Brahms program honors Laskarov's 20th year in the orchestra's concertmaster's chair.

He and pianist Tatiana Roitman will play the Violin Sonata No. 1; they will join Tze-Ying Wu, viola, and Ethan Young, cello, for the Piano Quartet No. 1. Luthier and ASO violist Joe Joyner will discuss violin-making in a casual, 6 p.m. pre-concert presentation in the Great Hall lobby. Tickets are $23, $10 for students and active duty military. And Laskarov and co-concertmaster Drew Irvin solo in J.S. Bach's Double Violin Concerto with the orchestra's Rockefeller Quartet -- Trisha McGovern Freeney and Katherine Williamson, violins; Katherine Reynolds, viola; and Ethan Young, cello -- for the orchestra's 2018 University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Ruth Allen Concert, 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the UAMS Hospital Lobby Gallery, 4301 W. Markham St., Little Rock. The "Bach to Bach" program will include Laskarov, oboist Beth Wheeler and the quartet playing Bach's Concerto for oboe and violin and Irvin will play the "Chaconne" from Bach's Partita No 2 for unaccompanied violin. Monday on Monday

Batesville native Rick Monday, former Los Angeles Dodger and Dodgers broadcast announcer since 1993 and lauded for stopping two would-be protesters from setting an American flag on fire during a Dodger Stadium game in April 1976, will present a program titled "Baseball and the American Flag" 7 p.m. Monday in the Children's Theater, Arkansas Arts Center in MacArthur Park, East Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock. The program, under the auspices of the neighboring MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, honors veterans and the American flag. Admission is free.

Architecture lecture

Emily Baker, Jessica Colangelo and Brian Holland, faculty members at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas, will give a lecture titled "New Perspectives in Architecture Education," 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Lecture Hall, Arkansas Arts Center in MacArthur Park, 501 E. Latin and ragtime

Latin pop singer-songwriter Gina Chavez will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center, University of Arkansas, 453 N. Garland Ave., Fayetteville. Student organization UARK MP3 (Music Performers, Producers and Professionals) is the presenter. Tickets are $10-20, free to all area students. The Faulkner Center will also host "Let It Out With Gina Chavez," at 6 p.m. Monday at La Huerta restaurant, 1860 N. Crossover Road, Fayetteville; admission is free and appetizers will be provided.

Also at the Faulkner Center this week, the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra performs Scott Joplin classics, 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The performance is part of a yearlong celebration of Joplin's 150th birthday. Tickets are $10-20.
