The inaugural Teddy Bear Tea will give Northwest Arkansas families a chance to begin a new Christmas tradition while helping support the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation on Nov. 24 at the Inn at Carnall Hall in Fayetteville.
The late afternoon event will feature cookies, a hot chocolate bar, a Santa letter writing station and professional pictures with the big man himself.

Tickets for children 2 years and older are $25 and $40 for adults. "Lap tickets" for children younger than 2 are free.
Proceeds will help the nonprofit organization fulfill its mission of "accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D (type 1 diabetes) and its complications."
"We provide newly diagnosed support, a mentor program for those living with T1D and those just diagnosed with T1D, family camp, outreach opportunities, Ambassador Program, signature fundraising programs like the Walk and the Gala, and many more services to the T1D community," says Lauren Sivewright, development manager.
