SPRINGDALE — A Springdale High School counselor was arrested Tuesday in connection with sexual assault.
William Rivas, 33, of 1844 Oxford Place was arrested by Springdale police on a charge of first-degree sexual assault, a felony.
School district spokesman Rick Schaeffer confirmed Rivas worked as a counselor for the district, but said the district could not comment further.
