BENTONVILLE -- The body of 16-year-old boy was recovered today after he drowned at the Prairie Creek swim area.
Sgt. Shannon Jenkins, the spokesperson for the Benton County Sheriff's Office, confirmed that the teen was swimming and drowned.
The dive team for the Sheriff's Office recovered the teen's body, Jenkins said.
Jenkins said they were not yet releasing the teen's name or any other information concerning the drowning.
