Beware the results of North Korea summit

The peace talks had gone on for months at a neutral site. The United States and its Far Eastern nemesis had belabored the issues to no end. We wanted guarantees that that they would put an end to their aggressive, international gestures in the Pacific Region. They, in return, bargained for assurances that their sovereignty should be free of threat and further retaliation from the Western powers.

Well-intentioned, to the point of naivete, we tried our very best to come to a rightful solution. Meanwhile, our adversary had other strategies in mind. They were simply biding time until their strike force was well in hand. And by plan, it was ready, shortly after the last “peace proposals” were made … Pearl Harbor, 7:48 AM, Dec. 7, 1941. “A day of infamy!”
