UALR to hold commencement today

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will hold commencement today.

Undergraduate and graduate students will be honored at two ceremonies at the Stephens Center, South University Avenue and 28th Street in Little Rock.

The first one is at 9:30 a.m. for College of Education and Health Professions and Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology students.

The second one begins at 3 p.m. for students in the College of Arts, Letters and Sciences; College of Business; and the College of Social Sciences and Communication.

The Commencement Brass Ensemble, the Ozark Highlanders Pipe Band, and UA Little Rock Concert Choir will perform at both ceremonies.

The ceremonies won't be live-streamed, but they will be recorded and posted on the university's YouTube channel by the evening.

Commencement for students in the William H. Bowen School of Law will begin at 7 p.m. The Commencement Brass Ensemble will perform. The keynote speaker will be Cody Hiland, U.S. Attorney for the eastern district of Arkansas.

The law school commencement will be recorded and the webstream will be posted on the school's website next week.
