ALMA -- Another 200 pounds of drugs were recovered in a third arrest at the Interstate 40 weigh station in Alma, Arkansas Highway Police said this morning.

Police did a safety inspection on a commercial vehicle around noon Sunday and found 200 pounds of marijuana in the sleeper berth, a small compartment attached to the cab where the driver can rest, according to a press release.

Eduardo Ruiz of Miami, 46, was taken to the Crawford County Detention Center in connection to the cannabis.

The vehicle was operated by Rio Miel Transport, LLC of Miami. The load of refrigerated foods was being driven from Platteville, Colo., to Anniston Ala., according to the press release.

This is the fifth drug-related seizure in the last six months, according to the press release. About 1,200 pounds of marijuana and 1,000 vials of cannabis oil were seized during the stops, according to the press release.
