BENTONVILLE -- Centerton Police Chief Cody Harper was placed on paid administrative leave Wednesday, according to Brian Rabal, Centerton's city attorney.

Rabal said he's been in contact with the Benton County Sheriff's Office concerning an investigation. Rabal said he recommended that Mayor Bill Edwards place Harper on administrative leave.

Rabal said he could not discuss the investigation.
