FAYETTEVILLE -- Police arrested a Central EMS employee in connection with sexual indecency with a child, according to police.

Craig Harvey, 38, of 2235 Riverwater Lane, turned himself into the Washington County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday night after police issued a warrant for his arrest.

The parents of an 11-year-old girl complained to police about a week ago about Harvey's activity with their child, Goshen Police Chief Zeb Rone said.

The incident happened in Goshen while Harvey wasn't at work, Rone said.

Harvey was released at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday from the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

CEMS Chief Becky Stewart said Thursday she accepted Harvey's resignation.
