Gun control limitations won’t turn back crime

“A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentations, Rachel weeping for her children;

She refused to be comforted, because they were no more.” — Matthew 2:18

A repressive government took lives when the subjected unarmed citizens could not protect and defend.

Hitler’s plan: Disarm all citizens, use the children to overthrow and subject anyone in disagreement with him.

Disrespect the established, more experienced and mature citizens in order to control all was his goal.

Disregard for history is the norm for would be “anti-gun, anti-self defense and anti-hunting” advocates. So-called “gun control” laws have never achieved their false goals to prevent crime in any country. They do make the law-abiding, unarmed citizenry easy targets for power hungry dictators and crime. Go live in one of those countries like North Korea and then see how you like that society! We are blessed indeed!

Our Bill of Rights was considered necessary to protect specific citizen freedoms. The anti-Bill of Rights promoters wrote that those freedoms were included and protected within the Constitution itself. Today, the cry is to tear up all these governing documents and ideas, even though they are the best ever written. They ensure our freedom of speech no matter how wrong, our right to study and follow the Bible when those around us demand its banishment, our guarantee to keep and bear firearms to protect the guarantees which our forefathers felt so strongly about.

An emotional subject, yes. But subjectively those founding fathers had lived in an oppressive society where their freedoms were restricted at the whim of one in authority. They planned that we the citizenry should not come under such control again. Those who wish to destroy our Constitution and the Bill of Rights guarantees are naive, deluded and seeking to destroy our guaranteed freedoms. Are they sincere? Sure, but very misguided. Youthful exuberance is great, even when naive. Older leadership is great, even when emotionally charged and motivated in hysteria and pain.

There will always be crazies who misuse knives, hatchets, chainsaws and other items. Are we to ban vehicles because of the deaths that result in their use?

Law enforcement officials will never be able to prevent all crime and pain. Restrictive laws will never be able to prevent crime. Destroying our Constitution and Bill of Rights freedoms will only make things worse. Perhaps a healthy respect for Bible principles would be an excellent start in our homes, hearts, government and all our officials to help prevent the dysfunctionalities in our society.
