Beaver Lake

Black bass and walleye are biting jerk baits, reports James Whittle at Hook, Line and Sinker in Rogers.

Jerk baits, crank baits and spinner baits are working for black bass. Fish along points and chunk rock banks.

Try minnows or jigs for crappie 20 feet deep. Striped bass fishing is slow.

Mike Whitehouse at Hickory Creek Marina said few people are fishing the south end of the lake because of muddy water and debris.

Beaver tailwater

Lisa Mullins at Beaver Dam Store said trout are biting Power Bait or nightcrawlers. Power generation is mainly in the morning.

Lake Fayetteville

Angela Perea at the lake office said black bass are biting fair on jerk baits and plastic worms. Crappie are biting small jigs close to shore.

Lake Sequoyah

Mike McBride at the lake bait shop said the water is muddy. Catfish are biting liver, but fishing is slow for all other species.

Lake Atalanta

James Whittle at Hook, Line and Sinker in Rogers said trout fishing is good with Power Bait or small spoons. Arkansas Game and Fish Commission won't stock any more trout until fall.

Swepco Lake

Kenny Stroud in Siloam Springs said black bass are biting a variety of soft plastic lures two to 20 feet deep.

Spinner baits and swim baits may also work, he said.

Siloam Springs Lake

Stroud recommends using small jigs for crappie five to 10 feet deep.

Eastern Oklahoma

Black bass are Lake Eucha are biting Alabama rigs and jerk baits, Stroud said.

Bella Vista

Taylor Surly at Hook, Line and Sinker in Bella Vista said black bass are biting square-billed crank baits, Alabama rigs and jerk baits at all Bella Vista lakes. Points are good places to fish.

Trout are biting at Lake Brittany on Power Bait or small spoons.

Table Rock Lake

Pete Wenners at Pete's Professional Guide Service black bass fishing remains tough.

Spinner baits, jerk baits and crank baits are the best lures. Try points, channel swings and bluff ends.
