Hannah Leigh Washburn and David Gregory Downs were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, in First United Methodist Church, North Little Rock. The Rev. Lynn Kilbourne and Winston Chandler officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Julia and Johnny Washburn of Maumelle. Her grandparents are Ann and Gail Matthews, also of Maumelle, and the late Carolyn and John Washburn of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Patricia and Greg Downs of Little Rock. He is the grandson of the late Betty and Sonny Eason and the late Letitia and Don Downs, all also of Little Rock.

The altar held two arrangements of pink hydrangeas, red roses, pink spray roses and dahlias. Music was by organist Linda Kennedy.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of French ivory lace and natural crepe embellished with beading. The sleeveless lace bodice had a V-neckline and low lace and illusion back and the skirt extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of pink and red dahlias, roses, ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus and Italian ruscus.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Haley Rankin of Fayetteville, sister of the bride, and Marleigh Mills of Maumelle. Bridesmaids were Olivia Dalton, Karli Mizer, Holly Davis and Lauren Downs, sister of the groom, all of Little Rock; and Lauren Shirley of Nashville, Tenn. They wore gowns of shell-colored chiffon with pleated bodices and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.

Drake Horton of North Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Monan, Jacob Stripling, Adam Dell and Alex Philbrick, all of Little Rock; John Edwards of Nashville; and Baylor Blickenstaff of Memphis.

A reception in the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center was held after the ceremony. Tables alternated tall gold vases filled with pink and red, dahlias, roses and hydrangeas with low arrangements of wedding flowers.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is a dental hygienist.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in finance from Harding University. He is a financial analyst at Crews and Associates.

The couple will live in North Little Rock after a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
