FAYETTEVILLE -- A man set for trial in connection with a late-night robbery and beating near Dickson Street last summer was a no-show for his trial Wednesday in Washington County Circuit Court.

Judge Joanna Taylor issued a warrant for Lorenzo Adam Green for failure to appear. The trial will be reset.

Green, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery, battery and tampering with physical evidence.

Police officers found Brandon Blake, 25, of Oklahoma City badly beaten in the early morning hours of July 14 in the parking lot of Arsaga's at the Depot. Blake was treated for severe lacerations, broken bones and a brain injury at Washington Regional Medical Center, according to police.

Green robbed Blake, taking a cellphone and his wallet containing $80, and was shown standing over him in a photo thought to be taken by Kayla Andrea Rolle, according to a Fayetteville police news release.

Rolle, 20, is charged with being an accomplice to each of the crimes. Her case is pending before Washington County Circuit Judge Mark Lindsay.

Green and Rolle were initially arrested in connection with attempted murder, but prosecutors chose not to pursue those charges. Green's bond was reduced from $250,000 to $25,000 by Taylor on April 3.

Green had sent the judge a letter dated Christmas Day saying his two daughters and their mother were struggling and needed his help. Green assured the judge he would "have no problem coming to court."

Green bonded out of jail April 20.

Rolle also had her bond reduced from $250,000 to $25,000 on Nov. 27 by Lindsay. Rolle's bond was revoked June 4 after she was arrested for terroristic threatening and criminal mischief. Rolle has since bonded out of jail again.
