HOT SPRINGS -- A still, although put out of commission by the operators, who used dynamite to blow it up, and one of the largest ever captured in this county, was located seven miles southeast of this city early today by Sheriff Brad Smith and Deputy Whitney Curl, who arrested Gus and Forest Irvin, and Oscar Gueren on charges of illicit distilling. Fifty gallons of mash and two gallons of whiskey were found at the still. Officers say they believe the operators of the still had been tipped off that the plant was going to be raided and that the men tried to blow up the still rather than have it captured.

MOUNTAIN HOME -- A toddler abducted Monday from a day-care center has been found unharmed, police said. Aiden Chase Mullin, age 16 months, was found about 10:45 p.m. at a Mountain Home residence. He was reunited with his parents. An unidentified woman, claiming to represent the child's family, had taken Aiden from the Open Arms Learning Center about 11:30 a.m., Police Chief Carry Manuel said. The abduction wasn't discovered until about 5:30 p.m., when Aiden's parents went to the center to pick up their son, Manuel said. Manuel said a woman called the child-care center Monday morning and told a staff member there was a family emergency and someone would come to get Aiden. A woman arrived about five minutes later and took the child, he said.
