CARTI, formerly known as Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute, has signed a lease on a new building in North Little Rock, the cancer treatment center said Monday.

The building will be constructed at Springhill and Stockton Drives in North Little Rock. It will be two stories and almost 24,000 square feet.

Once all designs are completed, construction is estimated to take 12 months. The cost has not yet been determined.

CARTI has offices on three floors at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. CARTI also operates a $90 million cancer center in west Little Rock that opened in November 2015.

Polk Stanley Wilcox are the architects and Flake and Kelley Commercial will manage the new North Little Rock building.

The building will be owned by SETU Inc., led by Manoj Patel. The building will be part of a development built by Patel, which will include a hotel.
