Jad Malek has been named vice president of retail operations and Kara Stockwell has been named vice president of organizational development for Arkansas Federal Credit Union.

FBT Bank & Mortgage has announced the expansion of its banking team in Jefferson County with the hiring of Joni Alexander, Ricky Ferguson and Shannon Robinson. Alexander will direct outreach efforts throughout Jefferson County. Ferguson will lead the loan division, and Robinson will hold the position of customer service specialist.

Rena Sanders has joined FNBC's newly formed Small Business Division as a Small Business Administration and commercial lending specialist.

Education

The University of Central Arkansas has named Nadia Eslinger the assistant director of Student Success.

Health

Methodist Family Health recently hired three new staff members -- two in its foundation and one in spirituality services. They are: Lesley Roberts, director of development; Cathey Henry, associate director of development; and Amy Bennett Shores, director of pastoral care.

Law

Suzanne Clark, an attorney with the Clark Law Firm PLLC, has been chosen to lead the Arkansas Bar Association as president.

Medical

Amanda George has been named associate vice chancellor for clinical finance and chief financial officer for the Integrated Clinical Enterprise and Brian Cotten has been named associate vice chancellor for campus operations at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Nonprofit

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield has announced the following promotion: Matt Flora to the position of vice president, enterprise business intelligence; Lynnell Logan to the position of direct marketing manager for consumer and retail markets; Hoyt Louks to director of membership administration for BlueAdvantage national accounts and BlueAdvantage regular business; and Suzette Cannon to manager of Health Information Network Project Management.
