WEST FORK -- Police think a man killed his wife and stuffed her in a freezer, according to press release.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office notified West Fork Police about the suicide of Lawrence Bruick near Mount Magazine on Sunday, and asked the department to notify his wife, Lori Bruick.

Officers could not reach her that day and went to her home Monday, according to the press release from West Fork police. They found evidence of a fight in the garage and, while searching the garage, found Lori Bruick's body inside a chest freezer, according to a press release.

The preliminary report from the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office determined her cause a death was blunt force trauma.

Male clothing with what appears to be blood on it was found in the home along with letters showing Lawence Bruick's suicidal thoughts, according to the press release.

"The motive behind the altercation is still an ongoing investigation, but investigators do not believe there are any other suspects in Mrs. Bruick's death other than Mr. Bruick," according to the press release.
