1 CRAFT

Watch as determined teams paddle furiously across Maumelle's Lake Willastein (off Club Manor Drive) in the River Cities Dragon Boat Festival. The festival starts 6 p.m. Friday with a tailgate party featuring music by Rodney Block, decorated team tents, food trucks, fireworks and children's activities. 2 CELEBRATION

The area around the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, 501 W. Ninth St., Little Rock, will be jumping and buzzing at the annual Juneteenth celebration, noon-6 p.m. Saturday. Musical performers include Shanice, Sir the Baptist, Big John Miller Band and special host Larry Dodson of the Bar Kays. There will also be vendors, food trucks, living history, film screenings and a kids zone with video games, face painting, laser tag and a rock climbing wall. Admission is free. Sample the offerings from some of central Arkansas' best mobile kitchens at the East Village Street Food Jam, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. Almost Famous, Count Porkula, Wok-n-roll and Slader's Alaskan Dumpling Co. will be among the participants in the food truck festival, presented by Riceland Foods.
