Business people Northwest Arkansas: Robert W. George, Jordan Carlisle, Kenneth Tonymon, Caleigh Moyer, Paige Umberson, Erica Payne, Timara White

Robert W. George was hired as senior counsel in the commercial litigation area of Friday, Eldredge & Clark LLP. He will be based in Rogers and work in federal and state courts. George has spent 20 years in practice and was vice president of litigation and regulatory affairs for Tyson Foods Inc. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Arkansas State University in 1995 and his juris doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1998.

Jordan Carlisle was hired as the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce's vice president of economic development and entrepreneurship. Carlisle attended the University of Missouri and interned with Essentra Components, a plastics manufacturer in Shanghai, while studying mandarin at East China Normal University. He has worked for Walmart Global Shared Financial Services and the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. He started Arkansas Startup Weekend, 1 Million Cups Little Rock, the early-stage programming for the Arkansas Venture Center and Strengthen Labs.

Kenneth Tonymon, M.D., F.A.A.N.S., joined Sparks Clinic Neuroscience Center. He has been in practice for more than 30 years and earned his degree and completed residencies in general surgery and neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He most recently worked at Essentia Health-Fargo in N.D., and HSHS St. Vincent in Green Bay, Wis.

Caleigh Moyer, Lincoln, is a new member of the American Angus Association. The St. Joseph, Mo.-based association has more than 25,000 active adult and junior members, and its computerized records include detailed information on more than 18 million registered Angus.

Paige Umberson, Lincoln, is a new junior member of the American Angus Association. Junior members of the St. Joseph, Mo.-based association are eligible to register cattle in the American Angus Association, participate in programs conducted by the National Junior Angus Association and take part in association-sponsored shows and other national and regional events.

Erica Payne was hired as director of operations for specialty clinics for Sparks Clinics. She joined Sparks after working as a practice administrator for the northeast region of Christus Health in Irving, Texas. She also spent more than 20 years in multiple administrative roles with St. John Health System in Tulsa. She studied at Tulsa Community College and the University of Phoenix.

Timara White is the new director of operations for primary Care Clinics within Sparks Health System. She has been with Sparks Clinic since 2009. She has been an office coordinator and office manager for various health care providers, most recently as office manager for Surgical Associates of Fort Smith. White earned a bachelor's degree in business education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.
