Charges say beer, liquor sold illegally

Authorities said they confiscated nearly 150 containers of alcohol from a man who is accused of selling it from his home in a dry county.

Cleburne County sheriff's deputies seized 21 bottles of vodka, 49 bottles of whiskey and 74 cases of beer, which typically contain 24 cans each, from the home of Charles Glosser in Drasco, the release said.

Drasco is in Cleburne County, which is a dry county that prohibits the manufacture and sale of alcohol.

The 59-year-old was arrested and charged with sale or possession of intoxicating liquor without a license.
