Authorities in Crawford County say they are investigating a pair of homicides after two bodies were discovered in a shallow grave Wednesday.
Van Buren police officers responded just after midnight to a creek bed near Natural Dam, department spokesman Jonathan Ware said.
He added that the victims are an out-of-state elderly couple. Their names and ages have not yet been released.
Police are questioning four out-of-state residents regarding the deaths, but they have not been charged or booked into the jail.
