BENTONVILLE — A new food truck serving “modern comfort food” is coming to Bentonville.

Crackerjack will be open within the next few weeks and can be found outside Bolt! NWA at 404 S.W. Regional Airport Blvd., co-owner Camille Hector said.

Hector and her husband, Jason Hector, moved back to Northwest Arkansas after some time in St. Louis, where Jason Hector was a chef. At the time, they had one child and he was working long hours. Now, with a second child and plans to adopt their teenage foster daughter, a food truck seemed like a more family-friendly way for Jason Hector to do what he loves, Camille Hector said.

“One of our goals is to engage with the community. We love it here,” she said.

A few items on the menu include the Nasty biscuit, pimento cheese and ham salad on a biscuit; the Pua, a Hawiian grilled cheese and the Beefcake, a meatloaf sandwich with candied bacon and tomato jam.

Crackerjack does not yet have set hours, but will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday and all day Saturday.
