WILSON -- The Wilson public school building and playground have been found to be over an Indian burial ground. Some plumbers in digging recently found pieces of pottery. This led two 12-year-old boys, Junior Wallace and Willie Rapp, to dig for more. They soon found a whole earthen ware vessel about 10 inches in diameter and eight inches in height in a fairly good state of preservation. The building is on slightly higher ground than the surrounding country. There are several Indian mounds in this county. The boys also found human bones.

• A facility for AIDS patients was destroyed in an apparent arson about 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Little Rock firefighters said. Fire inspector Gregory Summers said the blaze at the Ryan White Act AIDS Consortium's HIV/AIDS Action Life Center at 604 E. Sixth St. caused an estimated $100,000 in damage to the one-story frame building. He said it appeared someone set the fire outside the house on a deck area. "It's my opinion that this is an arson fire," Summers said. "I'll take some samples of the debris and send it to the crime lab. They'll be able to tell if any accelerants were used."
