BENTONVILLE -- An Indiana man is accused of extorting money from a woman he knew and setting up profiles of her on online dating sites that led men to her home.

Tyler Burton Klingensmith, 30, of Indianapolis was arrested in connection with sexual extortion, financial identity fraud, non-financial identity fraud, unlawful distribution of sexual images, two counts of terroristic threatening and violation of a protection order.

Circuit Judge Robin Green set Klingensmith's bond at $150,000 at Monday's bond hearing.

Klingensmith is accused of hacking the Bentonville woman's PayPal account and taking money from it, according to a probable cause affidavit. The woman told police that Klingensmith was harassing her with texts and emailing inappropriate photographs.

Klingensmith and the woman had been in a relationship, according to court documents.

The woman told police she gave Klingensmith money to keep him happy because he threatened to post photographs or show up in Bentonville.

Klingensmith is accused of sending the woman numerous email messages, including a threat to send all her friends an email with pictures and videos, according to the affidavit.

The woman told police that Klingensmith created Facebook and Instagram accounts and a profile in her name on the dating app Tinder, and placed an ad about her on Craigslist.

Two men went to the woman's home because of the information on the websites, according to court documents. Bentonville police said they stopped another man from going to her house.

The woman told police she received dozens of text messages from the sites.

Klingensmith is also accused of making death threats concerning the woman and her mother, according to court documents.

He is accused of violating an order not to contact the victim regarding attempts to call and email the woman while he was being held in the Benton County jail on Sunday.

Green ordered that Klingensmith not have access to email while being held in the jail.

The judge also told Klingensmith he's not to have any contact with the woman, warning him not to email or text her and not to use social media to involve himself with the woman in any way.

Klingensmith's arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 20.
