FAYETTEVILLE -- The man who died in Monday's house fire has been identified as Andrew McClarrinon, 45, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
McClarrinon was the owner of the 2,446-square-foot house at 17886 Clear Water Road, northwest of Fayetteville, said Kelly Cantrell, Washington County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
Ashley Smith, 25, of Fayetteville was injured in the fire and was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center.
Smith was in fair condition as of Wednesday afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Gina Maddox said.
