Firefighters responded to a Northwest Arkansas house fire early Monday and found one person dead in the debris.
The blaze in the 17000 block of Clear Water Road, which is near the Wheeler community northwest of Fayetteville, also left another person injured, a Washington County sheriff's office spokesman said.
The fire was put out shortly after 2 a.m. Authorities have not released the names of the dead and injured.
