One person was found dead in fire debris early this morning at 17886 Clear Water Road, said Kelly Cantrell, Washington County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
Firefighters put out the fire at 2:08 a.m at the house near the Wheeler community northwest of Fayetteville.
Another person was injured and taken to Washington Regional Medical Center.
The Sheriff's Office has not released the names of the dead and injured.
The house belongs to Andrew McClarrinon, property records show.
