Trump not first leader to speak profanely

Doug Thompson wrote an article, which was factual and well written, about Rep. Steve Womack’s comments relative to President Donald Trump’s “s***hole” comments.

The people elected President Trump because they want change. Many of our presidents were very profane in private because they wanted it hidden from their voters. Rep. Womack stated true facts that we support. His reasoning is solid.

President Trump is a businessman trying to do good things for America. We support his goals. Few other presidents have his openness, courage and gumption.

President’s comments

erode confidence in him

I’m gradually losing confidence in our president, Donald J. Trump.

I cannot accept his comments at times, most recently about immigration. His comments about not accepting poor people from certain countries was the last straw. Generally, I am in favor of most of what he is doing for our country, but not his nasty comments and some [statements] on Twitter. I will not be able to donate to his future election. I do wish him well, however, and hope the country’s leaders will adopt many of his ideas. I like everything about him and his family except what comes out of his mouth occasionally.

Good luck without me, Mr. President.
