BROWNS

McAdoo interviews for OC

CLEVELAND -- Bounced from New York, Ben McAdoo might get a new opportunity with the Browns.

McAdoo, who was fired as Giants coach in December after going 2-10 and benching quarterback Eli Manning, interviewed Tuesday to be the offensive coordinator for Cleveland Coach Hue Jackson.

McAdoo, 40, met with General Manager John Dorsey and Jackson, said a person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team is not confirming any coaching interviews.

Jackson is still considering whether to bring on a coordinator after handling those duties the past two seasons. But after going 0-16, Jackson said he was open to handing over play-calling duties and McAdoo has done that in the past.

McAdoo was New York's offensive coordinator for two seasons before taking over as coach when Tom Coughlin left. McAdoo went 11-5 in 2016, but things unraveled for him after he demoted Manning, a two-time Super Bowl champion.

McAdoo has connections with Dorsey as they worked together for seven seasons in Green Bay. McAdoo coached the Packers tight ends and quarterbacks.

Pro Bowl changes

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been named to the Pro Bowl to replace injured Atlanta star Julio Jones.

Adams, who led the Packers with 74 catches for 885 yards and 10 touchdowns despite missing time with concussions, will be making his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

Jones, the NFC's top receiver in fan voting, caught 88 passes in the regular season. He battled an ankle injury late in the season.

Also announced Tuesday, Tennessee tight end Delanie Walker will replace Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce on the AFC roster.

This will be the third consecutive Pro Bowl appearance for Walker, who was an alternate this season. Walker led the Titans with 74 catches and 807 yards receiving, and he also scored 3 touchdowns.

The 12-year veteran now has 5,621 yards receiving for his career.

SEAHAWKS

Coordinators named

The Seattle Seahawks have hired Brian Schottenheimer as their offensive coordinator and are bringing back Ken Norton Jr. to oversee the defense.

Schottenheimer takes over for Darrell Bevell, who was fired after seven seasons in charge of Seattle's offense.

Schottenheimer was an offensive coordinator from 2006-2014 with the New York Jets and the St. Louis Rams. He spent the 2015 season as the offensive coordinator at Georgia before returning to the NFL the past two seasons as the quarterbacks coach with the Indianapolis Colts.

Norton was the defensive coordinator in Oakland before getting fired after 10 games last season. Norton replaces Kris Richard, who was Seattle's defensive coordinator for the past three seasons and was selected ahead of Norton for the job in 2015.

JAGUARS

Fournette unhurt in crash

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette escaped injury after what authorities say was a minor, three-car crash.

The team said its star running back's car was rear-ended Tuesday morning, and that he was not hurt. He was able to drive home after the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Fournette was not at fault in the crash.

News agencies report that Fournette was driving a 2017 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 600.

Fournette and the Jaguars play the New England Patriots on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.
