Aroma around president

could attach to Cotton

Since I moved to Arkansas in 2013, it didn't take me long to figure out Tom Cotton is a blatant liar. Now he has proven himself to be a racist. All Arkansans should be disgusted with the way he grovels at Trump's feet.

Trump and Cotton have done nothing for Arkansas. Cotton better realize the stench of Trump will still be on him when the most incompetent president in history is gone and hopefully the voters will punish him for it.

A blue tidal wave is coming in 2018 and 2020 and I think Cotton is too smug to even realize it.

Political correctness

not always a bad thing

Lest we forget: Political correctness, although sometimes overplayed, is an attempt at civility.

'Provocative' behaviors

help to create problems

Our bodies are wonderfully designed for many purposes, one of them being to create a sexual response from the opposite sex. If done appropriately, the end result should be very satisfying and wholesome as it was intended.

On the other hand, if the body and its attire are used to solicit daring exposure of the sensual anatomy, who knows what kind of response or negative reaction is to happen to the male or female who is walking a fine line of psychological perversion? Or if an overactive sexual person with no restraint would be tempted to act out? Our society is full of people who have no restraint in many areas of their lives, sometimes resulting in immoral behavior.

I believe it is up to all individuals to carefully adjust their body language and clothing attire to help prevent others from perverted fantasies or the full-on acting out of immoral sexual behavior. Our choices do result in good or bad results. Kind of like the yin and yang talked about so frequently.

Lastly, I speak to you individually: You know when you are being provocative. You know the response you want to illicit. You, then, are part of the problem.

Another perspective

on protecting life

If people like [letter writer] Fred Coleman spent more time concentrating on making the lives of the children who are already here more bearable, instead of mourning the unborn ones, the world would be a much better place.

Every child born should be wanted, planned for and had by parents willing to protect it, love it and provide for it.

The ironic thing about the Freds of this world is that while they condemn abortion they picket clinics that offer birth control, which as every one knows is the best way of preventing unwanted pregnancies.

Fred also wonders what God, who according to him creates life, thinks of the shedding of innocent blood. Well, Fred, I wouldn't worry too much about it. With all the wars, famines, diseases and relegious zealotry going on, he's doing a pretty good job of it himself.
