Rogers man arrested in connection with Bentonville robbery

BENTONVILLE -- Police arrested a Rogers man in connection with a Saturday early morning robbery and possibly several others in Northwest Arkansas.

Christopher Curry, 48, of 311 N. 35th St. was booked into the Benton County Jail about noon Saturday.

Police were called at 4:28 a.m. to a robbery at Casey's General Store at 2801 S.E. J St., according to a Bentonville Police news release.

The robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Bentonville police connected a silver Chrysler 300 to the crime and stopped the car on Southeast Walton Boulevard. Curry was driving and the only person in the vehicle. He was arrested in connection with three counts of aggravated robbery, according to the release.

Rogers and Springdale police are assisting in the investigation because of several similar robberies in Northwest Arkansas over the past few weeks, according to the release.
