Rogers man arrested in connection to Bentonville robbery, possibly connected to others

BENTONVILLE -- Police arrested a Rogers man in connection to a Saturday early morning robbery and possibly several others in Northwest Arkansas.

Christopher Curry, 48, of 311 N. 35th St. was booked into the Benton County Jail around noon Saturday.

Police responded 4:28 a.m. to a robbery at the Casey's General Store at 2801 S.E. J Street, according to a Bentonville Police press release.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Bentonville police connected a silver Chrysler 300 to the crime and stopped the car on S.E. Walton Blvd. Curry was the driving and only person in the vehicle, according to police. He was arrested in connection to three counts of aggravated robbery, according to the press release.

Rogers and Springdale Police are assisting in the investigation because of several similar robberies in Northwest Arkansas over the past few weeks, according to the release.
