BENTONVILLE -- Police are searching for Cody Krawetzke after a pursuit that ended near Morning Star Road this morning.
A Benton County sheriff deputy attempted to stop a car for speeding around 9:30 a.m., but it speed off, leading to a pursuit, according to Sgt. Sharron Jenkins, Sheriff's Office public information officer.
The chase ended in a field to the west of South Morning Star Road between Southwest Greensprings Road and Southwest Windmill Road.
Krawetzke ran off, and deputies were still looking for him as of noon today, Jenkins said. He was wearing a hooded camp jacket, police said.
Authorities are also seeking Krawetzke for absconding his parole, Jenkins said.
